The NOMAD Tenancy Support Schemes provide help and support to single people or families who need help with moving into their new home. They also support people who already have a home, but who need help to maintain the tenancy or access services within the local community. The schemes are open to council tenants, Housing Association tenants and also those renting from private landlords.

NOMAD can provide short-term support, or longer if needed, and this support usually includes home-visits, telephone contact and help with attending appointments etc. NOMAD support workers can offer help with a number of things, such as

There are some areas in which support workers are unable to help, for example: health care, specialist counselling or rehabilitation services, cooking, gardening or decorating services; but they will be able to help clients access these services elsewhere if required. Click here for a list of other agencies who may be able to help if we can't. NOMAD's Advice Centre may also be able to help.
