
NOMAD is committed to ensuring that all its staff have the relevant training for their job and for their own personal development. This may include training in any of the following areas :
- Career development opportunities
- Workplace skills and experience
- Personal development
- Organisational courses
NOMAD runs in-house training and also provides its staff and volunteers with the opportunity to attend courses run by other agencies and organisations.
Staff and volunteers' training and development needs will be assessed regularly, as part of NOMAD's supervision and appraisal process (review process for volunteers).
All new staff will have a comprehensive induction. As part of this induction, all staff are required to attend in-house training, which is also open to all volunteers. The training covers the following areas:

- Confidentiality
- Communication Skills
